What do I gain from an exchange year?

I will point out what the exchange year will give me:

• The ability to cope in a completely unfamiliar environment. When I go to the exchange year, I will be completely alone in a foreign country and I will have to manage there. Such a skill will be very useful in the future life.

• A very good opportunity to learn a language. Yes, you don't have to travel to the country whose language you are learning, but it is the most effective way to learn the language. Living in a French-speaking environment every day, I learn the language very well.

• Broaden your horizons. Students who have gone through an exchange year have always been very good conversational partners with a very wide circle of friends.

• The opportunity to experience the culture of a completely new country. As a big culture enthusiast, I think that this is also a big part of the change year. All this new food, traditions, music and festivals seem so interesting to me.

• Courage. This experience definitely provides enough, the courage to try new things and the courage to go out of the comfort zone are just a few examples of this.

• The ability to be entrepreneurial. This is what it gives especially to young people who are looking for supporters - like me, because we try new things (like, for example, I have never done a website before in my life) and find many different solutions.
